2010 Tempranillo
Dimitri Tchelistcheff, long-time Jarvis wine consultant and former winemaker, suggested planting just an acre to compliment our other wines. Its very name means “early” from the Spanish word “temprano”. It is our first red variety to harvest each year. This Tempranillo greets you with its deep violet-black color and robust aromas of cherries and chocolate toffee. Tempranillo is one of the most food-friendly wines. A perfect choice to serve with pork and cuts of beef. This wine is best enjoyed from its youth to six years of age. Tasting Notes
