Only 273 cases were produced of a wine the Enthusiast praised for its "sheer enjoyability," This much sought after varietal does very well, year after year, on our gentle sloping vineyards.With deep amethyst hues, medium-body and opulent red berry fruit flavors this wine was aged for 20 months in new French oak barrels . Barrel aging allowed this wine to integrate its red berry flavor characteristics into an elegant food-friendly wine.
Credit this Merlot for sheer enjoyability. It defines Merlot as the soft, drink-me-now Bordeaux red wine, full-bodied yet instantly likeable.
