2008 Cabernet Sauvignon
2008 Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2008 vintage of this remarkable 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was a very small production (only 599 cases) and we anticipate that this wine will sell out quickly.  Twenty-five months in new French Haute Futaie oak barrels adds a dimension of toasty vanilla to the intense candied fruit and allspice aromas.

91 Points. Gold Medal. Exceptional. Bevarage Testing Institute. Dark garnet black color. Honeycomb, roasted nuts, dried cherry and tomato, and spicy cassis pie a la mode aromas and flavors with a silky, dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body and a chewy, chocolate and earth accented finish. A great earthy sipper and table wine; serve with prime rib.

2008 Cabernet Sauvignon

90 Points The Wine Advocate/Robert Parker by Antonio Galloni The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon is a pretty, layered wine graced with lovely delineation in its dark red fruit, licorice, tobacco, and sweet herbs. This is a relatively mid-weight style. All of the elements flow gracefully to the delineated, focused finish. Anticipated maturity 2013-2023.
