2010 Petit Verdot
2010 Petit Verdot

Petit Verdot is a delicate fruit that requires extra care in the vineyard and its smaller sized berries impart an intense dark fruit flavor and deep color. This Petit Verdot has a rich eggplant color. Aging it for twenty-four months in new French oak contributes to its smooth and long finish. This wine has been cave aged and was released when our winemaker felt it was ready for full enjoyment. Best to consume within ten years from vintage date.

2011 Petit Verdot
April 18th, 2016

90 Points. Gold Medal - Exceptional. Beverage Testing Institute.  Dusty garnet color. Lively, fruity aromas and flavors of black raspberry jam, dark roasted nuts, caramelized peach, and leather bound book with a silky, vibrant, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a smooth, intriguing, medium-length blackberries, pickled golden beets, and cedar finish with chewy, crunchy tannins and light oak. A bright and tangy petit verdot with great structure for aging.
