Dear Wine Friends, The Jarvis holiday season started off with great news! The last restaurant in The Capital Grille group just finished stocking Jarvis wines so now all thirty-nine Capital Grille restaurants are serving both the Jarvis Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc wines.
I am also happy to relate that after many years Ruth’s Chris Steak House locations continue to carry both Lake William Blend and Cabernet Sauvignon. Both of the above restaurants are prestigious and plan for long term customers. They take their wine lists seriously as they want wines to fully complement their foods and lead to repeat customers. These restaurants don’t go for “discount wines”; rather they make long term commitments with wineries they can count on. When you consider that there are literally thousands of different wineries around the world to compete for these prestigious restaurant wine lists, it is flattering to us! For myself, we don’t have these restaurants in Napa but when I travel and want a good steak I never pass up a Capital Grille or a Ruth’s Chris Steak House restaurant!
