Every year we track the ripening of our grapes in an effort to better predict and plan for our harvest.

Shown below are ripening plots for four years including the harvest dates shown at the top. You can see there is no such thing as a typical year. Note that this years Oct. 2 harvest was our earliest harvest ever. Even so it was 3 weeks later than most other wineries. We are not complaining since we like that extra long hang-time.
