Vintage: Wine Name:
2010 Reserve Merlot
June 3rd, 2014

96 Points. Platinum Medal. Beverage Testing Institute. Garnet violet black color.  Elegant aromas of dark berries, chocolate toffee, and baking spices with a silky, fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body and a long, tangy, mocha, apple and mineral nuanced finished with perfected integrated tannins.  A remarkably flavorful and polished merlot that will be great with filet mignon.

2010 Reserve Merlot
June 3rd, 2014

93 Points. Gold Medal. Cellar Selection. Wine Enthusiast. As rich as Jarvis' regular 2010 Merlot is, the Reserve is even bigger. It is, in a word, massive, offering a nuclear detonation of cherries, currants and mocha, even something sweety meaty, like the charred fat on a steak. At this tender age, it lacks subtlety. But it's a complex, tannic wine that should develop well in the cellar. Give it 6-7 years. - S. Heimoff (September, 2013)

2011 Will Jarvis' Science Project
June 2nd, 2014

92 Points. Gold Medal. Exceptional. Beverage Testing Institute. Dark garnet color. Attractive aromas of spumoni gelato, spicy gherkin, nougat, and suede with a satiny fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body and a creamy vanilla, roasted nut, and floral incense with ultra fine tannins. Uniquely flavorful and inviting.

2011 Will Jarvis' Science Project
June 2nd, 2014

94 Points. Wine Enthusiast. Cabernet Franc accounts for 95% of the blend, along with Merlot. Jarvis has been concentrating on Cab Franc, not just as an interesting blending grape, but a star in its own right. This wine is dry and smooth, with complex flavors of chocolate, red cherries, red licorice, blueberries and buttered toast, wrapped into fleshy tannins. It’s so good, there’s no reason not to drink it now. - S. Heimoff (June, 2014)

2009 Petit Verdot
June 1st, 2014

94 Points. Gold Medal. Beverage Testing Institute. Deep violet black color. Aromas and flavors of spicy dried cherries and apples, mocha, maple smoked bacon, and spicy gherkin with satiny fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body and a long, oak tannin accented finish. A delightful, flavorful petit verdot that will be sensation with spicy red meat dishes.
